It is very possible that Verlin's, at the corner of 8th and Soulard has gone out of business. They have been closed for the past 4 days, at least. This used to be Phelan's, which was owned by the same guys that own Soulard's. I am pretty sure people have started helping themselves to some of the patio furniture. Let's all hope that that a decent place with a viable business plan and decently-clad waitresses moves in. A new paint job inside wouldn't hurt either.
