Douche Hits Car, Car Ends Up Like This

Friday night/Saturday morning an idiot left Carson's and squealed out the back alley onto Lafayette.  Some neighbors were reporting hearing the truck squeal and hit a trash bin before turning onto Lafayette going East.  The driver then hit a car right at the driver side front tire leaving the car like this

That is a car on its side. Like by itself, he is not holding it up, contrary to popular belief, he is not a superhero, of that variety at least.

Good news though, folks.  The truck then headed south on Broadway until the driver/head douche realized he couldn't drive on the mangled tire anymore and dumped the truck outside Soulard's.  The occupants then ran off. Word from another neighbor is that they ran back to the scene of the crime where their buddies presumably had their cars parked and got away.  The truck was quickly found and towed away to the impound lot.  The truck was recently purchased and still had Illinois temporary tags on it.  A cop I talked to said it should be fairly easy to track down the douches and arrest them.  I'm sure I won't be the only one pushing for a Neighborhood Order of Protection (NBO) against these characters.  "Black Barbie" is a much more welcome visitor to the Island than these rejects.  Have fun in court, douches.  I leave you with a parting shot of the truck being taken away.
