Here's the text of an email that went out to Soulard residents via the Blaster

MONDAY, JANUARY 30th - 5:30 p.m. - Soulard Social House would like to host a neighborhood forum, Q&A,  to discuss the recent incident, past incidents and the steps they are taking to avoid future incidents. All Soulard residents are invited.

Please come out if you a concerned Soulard resident.  Come prepared with ideas more than "Social House sucks and needs to go."  Many of you feel that way and it's great you care about the neighborhood, but put something more behind it so your voice carries more weight.


Here are some things to think about when forming your opinion:

• Is Social House doing something to cause the crime?
• Is Social House marketing to a crowd that is bound to commit crimes?
• How can Social House prevent these crimes?
• What is Social House doing that the other bars in Soulard who aren't seeing these crimes aren't?
• Did the Lure crowd migrate to Social House?
• If Social House closes, will the crime go elsewhere in Soulard?
• How can Social House be a better neighbor?
