- Hammerstone's- Best Drink Special
- The RFT highlighted the Mon-Thurs specials at this Soulard favorite on the corner of 9th and Russell. Monday's $3 Missouri-made beers and Thursday's $3 Mug night are specials not to be missed.
- Tucker's Place- Best Steak
- This is probably a place that doesn't come to your mind first when you are looking for dinner in Soulard. That's something you need to fix. To get the experience that won them this award, go on Tuesday night for the $23.95 24-ounce Ribeye special. Tucker's opened in 1982 has won an RFT award almost every year since 1984. How's that for consistency? Tucker's also offers some fantastic specials on food and drinks throughout the week. Their lunch special is also a helluva deal during the week. Also won the Reader's Choice award for the category.
- Soulard Farmer's Market- Best Farmer's Market
- While the produce at our local market isn't always local, the peop;e-watching more than makes up for it and easily tips the scales to bring this award to the Island. Also won the Reader's Choice award for the category
- St. Louis BarCycle-Best Place for a Grownup's Birthday Party
- Luckily certain residents were around to save the BarCycle from the evil grasps of Louis Hamilton, Kim Tucci and the Taxi Commission last summer. The BarCycle is something you need to do wether it's for your birthday or not.
- Reader's Choice
- iTap-Best Beer Selection
- John D. McGurk's-Best Outdoor Dining
Also worth noting
- Perennial Artisan Ales- Best Craft Brewery
- Former Island resident Cory King is the lead brewer at Perennial. You can pick up some of their beers at iTap and other fine establishments.
- Auntie Anne's Pretzels
- This one has no connection to Soulard, but try to wrap your head around this. In case you were wondering, the pretzel sandwiches at Gus's Pretzels on Arsenal are WAY better.
