Tonight is the monthly Soulard Self Defense Course at Soulard Station. This course, put on by the SRG Safety Committee and John of the John and Drew Show, will teach you basic tactics you need to know in order to keep yourself safe. The course is held once a month at Soulard Station (12th and Gravois) at 7pm. It is always free, but a donation of $5 is suggested. The money goes to the Soulard Restoration Group. Tonight's course will be taught by Bob Whaley. Mr. Whaley served 31 years as a police office in the St. Louis area, including 15 on the local SWAT team. Mr. Whaley holds "black belts" in several different kinds of martial arts and also teaches.
